an unexpected treasure

so, for the past couple of months, my family and i have been enjoying a hobby called Letterboxing. www.atlasquest.com has all the info. this morning Ted planted a wonderful series of 5 letterboxes entitled "Thomas By The Bay", for Thaddeus who has enjoyed trains for most of his five years. after Ted planted the boxes, to help edit the clues he wrote, Thaddeus & i attempted to find them. in the first letterbox we found was the stamp of Thomas the tank engine. included with it, Ted had a surprise waiting for the both of us. for Thaddeus there was a sheet of cool stickers. for me, at the bottom of the box was what is pictured here. those of you who have seen the movie "Up" will appreciate the gift's meaning. yes, just seeing my hubby's sweet gift brought tears to my eyes. it is a precious treasure. thank you, Ted!
